When should you reorder packaging?
We are sure you are rushed off your feet with orders left, right and centre so we have put together a few key points to help you gauge when to reorder your packaging.
How frequently you reorder your packaging will vary from the next person as it will largely be based on your business model and sales rates. Although we have been known to work miracles and turn around production very quickly, we would advise you to get in touch with us whilst you still have two months of packaging. There are several advantages of getting in touch whilst you still have plenty of stock:
When time is short we often need to use stock material sizes which can leave parts of the sheet wasted, however, given more time we can order made to measure board sizes which can make a significant difference to your material costs.
If there are any changes to the design or graphics then the earlier we are involved the more flexibility there is for using different finishes or making changes before the original stock runs out.
Receiving your packaging ahead of schedule also gives you plenty of time for packing and transport which can both save costs and provide peace of mind.
